Privacy policy

HubNugget is an engineer led hiring service and hiring software, run by Rohit Dubey in India. HubNugget decides how your data is used and is responsible for it.

For any privacy question, request or complaint, email support@hubnugget.com.

• Hiring enquiries and demo requests: name, work email, company, phone, and the job description or message you send.
• Candidate profiles (/candidates): your resume, name and contact details, work history, skills, the roles, locations and work setup you want, notice period, current and expected pay, gender if you choose to give it, and your consent to share the profile.
• Job applications for roles posted with HubNugget: your resume and your answers to the role's questions.
• Recruiter accounts in the HubNugget app: your name, email, team, and the jobs, candidates, interviews and feedback you manage. If you sign in with Google, Google gives us your name and email.
• Technical data: when you send a form or use the app, our servers receive your IP address and browser details.
• Analytics and ad data, which you can turn off: see cookies below.

Roles from company career pages on our jobs board are applied for on the company's own site; we don't receive those applications.

• To reply to you and run the hires you ask us for.
• To consider candidates for roles, and share a profile with hiring businesses when the candidate has agreed or applied.
• To run the HubNugget app: jobs, pipelines, interviews, feedback, and the emails it sends (for example interview invites, reschedules and decisions).
• AI reads resumes and job descriptions to fill in profiles and show how a candidate's experience matches a job. It suggests; people make the hiring decisions.
• To understand how the site is used and to measure our ads (see below).
• To keep the service secure and prevent misuse.

• Hiring businesses see a candidate's profile only after the candidate agrees to sharing, and see an application for the role it was sent to. They may use it only to consider the candidate for jobs.
• Service providers that run parts of HubNugget for us: Cloudflare (file storage and AI processing), our email delivery provider, and our hosting and database providers. They handle data on our instructions.
• Google (Google Analytics), unless you turn analytics cookies off.
• X (Twitter): the X pixel runs unless you turn marketing cookies off. Separately, when you send a form on this site (hiring enquiry, candidate profile or job application), our server tells X that a sign-up happened so we can measure our ads. It sends your email and phone in hashed (scrambled) form, your IP address and browser details, and the X ad click id unless you turned marketing cookies off. This happens whatever you choose in cookie settings; to opt out, email support@hubnugget.com.
• Authorities, when the law requires it.

Google Analytics and the X pixel are on by default. You can turn either off at any time, and the site works the same without them: Cookie settings.

The HubNugget app also uses sign-in cookies, which are needed to keep you signed in.

We keep personal data only as long as we need it for the reasons above: candidate profiles until you ask us to delete them or stop sharing, and enquiries and hiring records as long as needed to follow up and keep our business records. Then we delete it.

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act and similar laws, you can ask us to:

• tell you what personal data we hold about you;
• correct or update it;
• delete it;
• stop sharing your candidate profile, or withdraw any consent you gave (cookie choices change instantly in cookie settings);
• act for someone you nominate if you die or can't act yourself.

Email support@hubnugget.com from the address we know you by. If you're not happy with our answer, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Resumes and files are kept in private storage that only our server can reach, and access to the app is limited by account and role. No system is perfectly secure, so if something goes wrong that affects your data, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.

HubNugget is for working professionals and businesses. It is not meant for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect their data.

When this policy changes, we update it here with a new date. If a change affects how cookies are used, we ask for your choice again.
